Why Night Ride Home

I named this necklace after my favorite song by Joni… Night Ride Home. My mom introduced Joni to me when I was really little. I probably didn’t even know who I was listening to.

I have memories of this album (name after this song) playing in the early mornings before school and sometimes on summer evenings. I remember I went to my friend's camp for a summer trip. I was missing my home (and my mom) one night, and I stuck in my cord headphones and put on this album.

I love how music can transport you back to a memory & feeling. That’s why Joni has always done for me. Subconsciously comforting. I had her music on a lot in the studio this winter, so when it came time to name the pieces in this collection, it felt pretty natural to pull from her songs and lyrics.
